Good place to stay if you like a quiet place and don’t mind sleeping with the ants. Positive: Location. Quiet. Nice. Brand new. Good taste. Functional. Concierge. Negative: Too many ants! Too small toilet.

Ótimo para quem pretende ficar na zona onde se situa. Positive: O sistema de acesso (entrada) funcionou bem. O aspeto geral é agradável. A localização muito sossegada. Negative: Tinha muitas formigas e alguns outros insetos (mosquitos e pequenas aranhas). As instalações sanitárias de dimensões muito reduzidas. Quando saí tive muita dificuldade em fechar a porta do quarto (a lingueta gasta prendia e não permitia fechar com suis idade)

Positive: Positives: the room itself is small but nicely designed, with good furniture. The mattress is comfortable, and the desk is suitable for working with a laptop. There is a kettle and coffee machine in the common area. Upon arrival, there were two small bottles of water, two coffee capsules, and two tea bags — but nothing was replenished during the 7-day stay. I had to order water separately. Negative: Overall, I feel this stay did not match the price or expectations. At €320 for a week, compared to apartments in the city centre (€233 for 7 nights, 33 m², and €270 for 8 nights, 25 m²), the main advantage here is just the location near the ocean and a park. However, the overall experience was disappointing — especially considering that this room is only 14 m². First of all, the check-in at 16:00 and check-out at 10:00 is quite unusual and inconvenient. In practice, it feels like 2–4 hours are “lost,” especially considering that in Europe, when you pay for accommodation, you generally expect close to a full day. The biggest issue started on the first day — ants in the room. Not just one or two, but appearing every 10 minutes. I live in Ireland and had honestly forgotten such a problem even exists, so I definitely did not expect it in a paid accommodation. Prior to this, I stayed for two weeks in Porto in two different places and did not encounter anything like this. There were also maintenance issues: the bathroom sink was leaking, and there was a noticeable damp smell. Communication via WhatsApp was slow and drawn out, although at least they stayed in touch. On the first evening, I could have moved to a more spacious apartment closer to the ocean for €310, even with a late check-in option, but the host delayed responses and ignored my request for a refund. Instead, they said that the next morning I would be moved to a smaller room without ants. Because of this uncertainty, I didn’t even unpack. I couldn’t sleep that night, which seriously disrupted my work schedule during a business trip. The next day, plumbers came to fix the sink, and cleaners briefly checked the ants — but nothing was actually resolved. For the entire week, the ant problem remained, and no real service or compensation was offered. Basic service was also lacking: I had to request fresh towels and toilet paper after 6 days.
